Technical Director for Sales and MarketingThe Technical Director for Sales and Marketing assist the sales and marketing teams, utilizing [his/her] expertise in faade technology and in construction industry to interpret technical project requirements.
[He/She] also work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies and initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews proposals prepared by Marketing Associates analyzing terms of costing and technical interpretation of RFP
Creates Sales and Marketing presentation materials- Supports JTK and the Vice President for Sales and Marketing in preparing all presentation materials and documents
Contributes to Sales and Marketing plans and strategies
- Reviews and coordinates pricing strategies and methodology
Supports/collaborates with the Vice President for Sales and Marketing for the department's annual budget- Contributes in the realization of the department's short- and long-term goals and assists in the implementation of its policies and operational procedures
Represents and promotes the company in various curtain wall-related events
- Promotes positive relations with clients, developers, and architects
Attends kick-off meetings of awarded projects- Attends technical meetings for bided or prospective projects, where necessary
Attends marketing handover of awarded projects
- Coordinates with the Design and Construction Administration departments for any information or requirements essential for efficient and effective service delivery
Conducts company and/or technical presentation with prospective and existing clients- Assists in pursuing project leads and bided projects
Provides curtain wall orientation to newly-hired Marketing Associate/s and coaches on technical matters as needed
- Takes minutes of meetings (MOM) and issues to relevant parties within the next twenty-four (24) hours
Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Arts, or any Business Development-related courses
At least 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing from the Construction/Engineering or Real Estate industry, the last 6 years in a management position (with Faade and Engineering Experience is preferable)- Must be an analytical and critical thinker
Must have a strong sense of initiative and effective leadership skills
- Must be knowledgeable in Strategic Marketing and Research
Must have experience in strategic planning and execution- Must be good in contracting, negotiating, and change management
Should have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Should be capable of multi-tasking while effectively performing Sales and Marketing tasks
Knowledge in art direction or creative design is an advantage- Should be flexible, aggressive, and results-oriented
Should have the ability to motivate team members and simultaneously-manage several projects
