Technical Buyer

Job Objective / Purpose: The Supply Chain Management's Technical Buyer will ensure that goods and services are delivered at the right, quality, time, place at the most competitive price with the most qualified Vendor. The company will need a Technical Buyer with procurement & negotiation experience and wide supplier network to ensure quality procurement and cost effectiveness in delivering on time goods and services.

This role will be hired under Health Delivery System, Inc. - a subsidiary of RelianceCare, Inc.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead on procurement for assigned projects

• Handle bidding and project implementation of different projects including construction, medical machines and equipment, preventive maintenance and calibration services, IT solutions, etc

Prepare and coordinate procurement aspects of the project preparation documents, review and comment on the bidding document and evaluation reports and consolidate comments, requests for clarifications and/or revisions for approval by the relevant stakeholders

• Project negotiation and awarding

Discover new Vendors for hard to find supplies and services

• Maintain Data Base of accredited Vendors

Tactical Procurement

• Negotiation and Cost savings strategies

NetSuite PR to PO processing

• Expediting and de-expediting deliveries

• Background and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in 4/5 year course in the fields of Supply Chain Management, Health Services, or Engineering

• At least 4 years solid experience in Procurement and/or Vendor Management handling Medical Equipment and BioMed Machines and services is preferred

Having a Wide Network of Vendors and having a Track Record in negotiation is an advantage

• Experience in ERP Solutions (e.g. Net Suite, ARIBA, etc)
