Main responsibilities are to:
- Working with Business / Product teams to understand end to end business process during requirements gathering.
- Assist the Product owner to add detail to user stories providing technical requirements.
- Ensure that user stories they develop have clear acceptance criteria.
- Clarify requirements by adding detail in conjunction with guidance from the Prod Owner, UX Designer & architects.
- Create technical artefacts like flow diagrams, UI mock-ups, etc.
- Working with the Agile Build teams / Dev teams and third-party technical teams for creating / testing and validating integration requirements
- Working with Business PM and / or delivery lead to create a cadence of delivery
- Act as liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders like business analysts (in Europe), Architects, SMEs.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the distributed Scrum team across Asia, Pacific and Europe, including the ceremonies of Sprint planning, daily standups, sprint review and retrospectives.
- Create well articulated stories in Azure DevOps for the Scrum team to work on.
- Work with the Product Owner & the Tech BA team, to ensure there are sufficient product backlog stories that are sufficiently detailed for the scrum team to plan for the upcoming sprint.
- Manage and maintain content management and control processes and tools.
- Learn the various platforms which make up the Commercial Risk Eco System within Aon.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or information technology.
- 8+ years proven IT experience
- 5+ years working in Agile Scrum.
- 3+ years working with a Business Product Manager.
- 5+ years writing requirements.
- 3+ years creating / writing user stories using Jira for Scrum
- Evidence of being a successful influencer across different teams and cultures.
- Experience of working on general insurance risk related problems is desirable.
- Experience within Insurance broking is a distinct advantage.
Knowledge
- Previous Analyst and/or development experience.
- Using Azure Dev Ops or Jira for managing software development.
- Excellent knowledge and experience within a Scrum team.
- Knowledge of Relational Data Bases & specifically Transact SQL & PL/SQL is a distinct advantage.
- Use of wireframing tools such as Balsamiq and or Figma is desirable.
