Position: Loan Processing Supervisor

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Lead & Manage: Oversee workflow, SLA management, and serve as the go-to contact for escalations, ensuring efficient and seamless loan processing.
- Team Support & Development: Act as the first point of contact for team queries on loan applications, broker accreditations, and valuations. Partner with the Team Leader to identify training needs and development opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly report to the Team Leader on team and individual achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Drive the processing of mortgage loan applications from submission to settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with brokers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation and resolve outstanding issues.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to best practices, disclosure requirements, and compliance standards, managing any breaches proactively.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Australian Lending Expertise: In-depth understanding of Australian lending best practices, including residential, SMSF, and commercial applications.
- Detail-Oriented: A knack for precision in high-volume, complex environments.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to clearly engage with team members and stakeholders.
- Multitasking & Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Core Responsibilities
- Complete at least 20 CPD points per year to stay up to date on industry standards.
- Foster team development by ensuring all members are trained on company policies to avoid compliance breaches.
- Monitor, review, and process mortgage loan applications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate on property valuations, discharge reporting, and client inquiries.
- Maintain meticulous records, adhere to data privacy regulations, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the application process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian mortgage brokerage or loan processing.
- Proficiency in mortgage processing software (Apply Online, Core Logic, Equifax) and Microsoft Office.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and industry guidelines.
