The Impact:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead for the APAC & EMEA CFR group. This pivotal role requires a self-motivated leader who will coordinate the team to effectively manage delinquent accounts, maximize cash collections, and minimize unapplied items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the team while ensuring seamless collaboration with Commercial teams, Order Management, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the APAC & EMEA CFR team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Coach team members and new hires to develop their skills and achieve acceptable levels of seniority.
Portfolio Management: Take full responsibility for the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and effective follow-up on delinquent accounts. Implement strategies to keep the average task closure to 2.5 days.
Cash Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize cash collections within the APAC & EMEA geography, aligning efforts with CI CFR's global collection targets. Analyze collection metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration: Establish and maintain a strong forum with the Commercial Support team, highlighting issues that require Sales participation. Create actionable reports to share insights and ensure consistent follow-up on collection challenges.
Training and Development: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive training plan for new hires. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant, facilitating the onboarding process and ongoing development.
Reporting and Analysis: Coordinate the preparation and quality control of Top 50, Top 20, Cadence, and +181 reports. Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Suspension and Termination Management: Lead the monthly suspension and termination exercises for APAC & EMEA accounts, reviewing suspension lists and proposing additional clients for consideration. Eventually, expand this knowledge to support the entire CFR CI team.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess team performance against established KPIs and implement corrective actions as necessary. Foster a high-performance culture by recognizing achievements and addressing performance gaps.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 -5 years experience in collections, credit management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
