Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Tax & Payroll Assistant has 2 main functions as follows:

PAYROLL
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information.
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions.

TAX
  • In-charge of specific tax and compliance concerns of the company.


  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

PAYROLL

  • Collects all the needed data and information for the preparation of the semi-monthly

    payroll.

  • Checks in details the Daily Time Record (DTR) coming from the HR Admin Department on a per cut-off basis.

  • Entering the data and information in the Payroll Registers.

  • Prepares / Generates all the Payroll Registers of the company and its subsidiaries, except the Confidential Payroll.

  • Prepares / Distributes the related pay slips.

  • In-charge of preparing the Request for Payment (RFP) of the following:

    a. SSS contributions

    b. SSS loans

    c. PHIC contributions

    d. HDMF contributions

    e. HDMF loans

  • Filing / Payment of SSS, PHIC and HDMF contributions and loans as applicable.

  • Computes last pay.

  • Maintains Subsidiary Ledgers of employees in relation to cash advances that are subject for payroll deductions.

    TAX

    BIR



  • Prepares the Request for Payment for the annual registration fee.

  • Coordinates with BIR for the annual registration of books.

  • Prepares and files BIR Form 1601C.

  • Prepares Request for Payment for the remittance of withholding taxes on compensation.

  • Prepares and files BIR Form 1604CF.

  • Prepares, distributes, and files BIR Form 2316 of employees.

  • Prepares and files BIR Form 0619E and 1601EQ.

  • Prepares Request for Payment for the remittance of expanded withholding taxes.

  • Prepares and files BIR Form 1604E.

  • Prepares and files BIR form 2550M and 2550Q.

  • Collates the needed data and information in compliance to BIR audits.

    BUSINESS PERMIT

  • Coordinates with the LGU for the assessment.

  • Compiles all the needed requirements and submit the same to the LGU.

  • Prepares the Request for Payment for the corresponding fees.

  • Liaises with the LGU for the payment.

  • Secures Community Tax Certificate.

    Performs other related duties that may be assigned.

  • 8 hour shift
