Prepare and file BIR tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Manage tax compliance and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax regulations.
Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation, coordinating with auditors, and addressing audit inquiries.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Perform bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring proper documentation.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank accounts and GL accounts.
Handle communications with government agencies for store and head office compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and maintaining good relationships with regulatory bodies.
Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including government regulations and internal controls.
Maintain and organize financial documents, prepare financial reports, and support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the General Accounting Supervisor and GA Manager.
Job Qualifications
Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any equivalent course.
CPA preferred but not required.
At least 2 years of experience in Tax Accounting.
Knowledgeable in BIR Tax Cases, with actual experience handling LOA and other issuances from BIR.
Knowledgeable in FS Audit.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Good communication skills.
High analytical skills.
Willing to work onsite from Mondays to Fridays, from 9 AM to 6 PM.
