Tax and Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Associate Tax and Financial Analyst is tasked to conduct review and analysis of financial transactions, activities and tax transactions. He / She will provide better interpretation of data and confidence on the reports (such as financial statements, account schedules, variance analysis). He / She shall adhere to accounting policies and procedures and tax rules and regulations by the respective government agencies in all transactions to ensure that the standard reporting requirements are actually met. He / She shall ensure all Accounting cycles are executed correctly, as applicable.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

Validation of transactions to ensure that system records are accurate, updated and recorded based on approval matrix (payroll, bank transactions, advances, others)

• Timely recording and checking of recorded transactions (e.g. daily)

Prepare reconciliation of accounts (cash, accruals, payroll accounts)

• Deliver a full range of compliance of the following within expected timeframe:

-Withholding taxes

-Final tax

-VAT

-Income tax

-Documentary stamp tax

-Registration

-Books of accounts

-Other business taxes

-Respond to tax audits

• Manage PEZA compliance

Respond to tax audits

• Prepare monthly schedules of identified accounts (lapsing, prepayments)

Prepare other special reports as required

• POSITION REQUREMENTS

:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

• WORKING EXPERIENCE:

CPA is an advantage

More than 2 years of experience

Knowledge on Accounting standards and taxation (audit, EFPS, revenue regulations, PEZA)

General accounting experience

Experience on handling team is an advantage

Working knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Accounting Software
