DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, filing, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports. Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions
Process permits and liaise with BIR, SEC, and local government.- Manage and maintain company's tax database
Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits
- Ensure compliance with regulations by providing required information.
Responsible in tax audit and support in SGV audit- Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden
Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Education: College Degree in Accounting
- Experience: Minimum of three (2) years- experience in preparing Financial Statements and tax returns for a company including supporting documents
- Licenses (if applicable): CPA with One (1) year audit experience
- Others: In-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and time management skills. Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets; Knowledge in or experience with SAP and other ERP system is a plus; Strong organizational and communication skills; Confidentiality and integrity; Willing to extend working hours; Ability to work independently and under pressure
