Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field is preferred but not required.
Professional License in Accountancy (CPA) is preferred but not required.- At least 2 years of working experience in Taxation.
Experience in dealing with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and local government units (LGUs).
- Proficiency in using BIR applications and software.
Knowledge of compliance requirements with the BIR, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other regulatory bodies.
- Tax Filing, Accounting, and Regulatory Compliance:
Vouch supporting documents relevant for tax filings and reports.
- Assist in the renewal of relevant BIR registrations, permits, and clearances for all assigned companies.
Responsible for the safekeeping and organization of documents under the team's custody.- May be required to submit and process documents with the BIR, LGUs, and other government agencies as needed.
Assist in the preparation of necessary documents and tax reconciliations for BIR assessments.- Respond to tax queries related to business transactions.
Communicate identified tax issues to senior team members for review and propose appropriate actions as needed.
- Tax Planning and Strategies:
Assist in determining tax risks and exposures and recommend corrective measures.
- Help develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives.
