Your Role:As a Senior Public Accountant, you will:
- Client file Xero bookkeeping and Hubdoc management including liaising with clients on any queries/documentation required.
- Preparation of client monthly IAS/Quarterly BAS for manager to review.
- Preparation of client annual financial statements including workpapers and relevant company, trust, individual tax returns for manager to review.
- Preparation of client SMSF financial statements including data entry, SMSF tax return and facilitation of documentation in readiness for external audit for manager to review.
- Preparation of monthly business performance reporting in Spotlight Reporting for manager to review.
- Liaising with clients on any Xero related queries they may have (predominantly via email) including requests for information that allow you to fulfill your tasks and responsibilities
- Ad hoc client Business advisory tasks as they arise.
What You Need:Non-negotiables:- CA/CPA qualified (desired but not compulsory)
- 4+ years experience in/with Australian Public Practice in a similar accounting role working on similar accounting and taxation tasks
- Deep knowledge of Australian Taxation, Trust and Superannuation Law.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Vast Xero Software experience including Xero accounting software and Xero Tax.
- Experience in Spotlight Reporting (desired but not compulsory).
- Experience with Hubspot CRM (desired but not compulsory)
- Experience with Projectworks software (desired but not compulsory).
- Experience with Hubdocs Receipt Management Software (desired but not compulsory)
