U-Freight Phils., Inc. (an Ayala Company) is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tariff and Pricing Assistant to join our team! If you have a passion for logistics and a knack for vendor management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Freight Forwarding with vendor/client interaction.
- Proficient in computer skills and experienced in written and oral English.
- Customer-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Trustworthy with confidential matters and maintain a low-profile attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all rate-related matters for domestic and international shipping with airlines, shipping lines, agents, consolidators, truckers, and other service providers.
- Generate formal quotations based on our agreed markup scheme, ensuring high-quality proposals.
- Track the progress of submitted RFQs and maintain updated monitoring records.
- Promptly inform sales and relevant parties of any rate changes.
- Regularly update RFQs and buying rates, initiating renewals before contract expiration.
- Encode buying and selling rates from various service providers.
- Contribute to company profitability and cost reduction through effective rate negotiations.
- Validate invoices from service providers and prepare requests for payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with documented quality procedures.
- Review and highlight exceptions, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
