About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill company staffing needs. This candidate must have an understanding of basic HR and Recruiting principles, possess strong decision-making skills and can thrive under pressure. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for you to develop and gain more experience in the field of Human Resources.
This Is What You'll Do
- Create an important first impression of Sterling to applicants
- Post job advertisements, source candidates from various channels, screen resumes, perform interviews and schedule applicants
- Set up applicants on Psychometric assessments
- Conduct effective phone and face-to-face interviews and shortlist candidates for final/technical interviews
- Coordinate with other departments for the completion of applicants internal background checks
- Assist in the new employee/onboarding process
- Assist in the submission of recruitment-related reports as needed
- Participate in coming up with effective sourcing and branding strategies
- Organize, file and audit employee files
- Other related duties as assigned

- Are able to respond personally or thru email and assist candidates with their needs promptly and accurately and escalate issues outside of the scope of this position
- Are adaptable to change; Able to stay calm in stressful situations and think on the spot
- Have high attention-to-details and multi-tasking ability
- Are enthusiastic and highly self-motivated; can work with minimum supervision
- Are able to maintain professionalism and handle confidential information
- Are able to work with all level of the organization and meet deadlines
- Are willing to work overtime and adjust work schedule as needed
This Is What We're Looking For
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Behavioral Science or equivalent
- Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- At least 6 months of work experience in Recruitment in a BPO company is an advantage
- No suspension in the last 6 months
- Not more than 3 critical errors in the last 6 months (no active CAP written warning on file)
- No attendance issues (no active written warning on file) and zero instance of No Call/No Show
- Must have a performance rating of at least Successful in the most recent performance review
- Must have at least 1 year tenure in his/her current role
