Work Arrangement:2 weeks onsite in Clark office 2 weeks WFH
Shift:4 x 11Tuesday-Friday, 7 AM-6 PM Sydney (AEST/AEDT)
L2 MSP Engineers are strong in all the most common and popular networking and server technologies. In addition to experience in known technologies, L2 engineers must have an appetite to keep up with the latest cloud trends, mainly M365. We will provide the time and resources to upskill in M365.
The pace and demands in this environment are usually much greater than internal IT or NOC positions.This person should be prompt and/or know the importance of communicating ETA's to clients. L2 engineers must have strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within SLA which are key to retaining clients.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- DAILY time entry accounting for all work on tickets
- Documentation of client networks & services
- Implementing changes across all types of clients
- Backup Maintenance
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and management of Intune & Group Policy
- Install, configure and test network & server devices
- Configure file, print and remote access services
- Administration, including add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check event logs, configure and restore from backup
- Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
- Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take
- Ability to articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people

Your Qualification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical clients
- Operating Systems:
- Advanced troubleshooting for Windows (client and server) and Linux
- Networking:
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with network firewalls, switches, and routers (basic configuration and advanced diagnostics)
- Active Directory & Group Policy:
- User management, security groups, group policy troubleshooting, and basic AD replication issues
- Cloud Services:
- Experience with Office 365 administration, Azure AD, and Microsoft Exchange Online
- Virtualisation:
- Proficiency in Hyper-V and troubleshooting virtual environments
- Backup & Recovery Solutions:
- Hands-on experience with common backup tools and ability to troubleshoot backup failures
- Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM):
- Ability to work with and manage RMM platforms
Nice to Have Wishlist:
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (VMs, networking, storage)
- Familiarity with macOS (optional but beneficial)
- Security Tools:
- Endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, and basic firewall configurations.
- Experience in patch management and vulnerability scanning
- ConnectWise experience is a plus
- ITIL certification
- Sophos & Ruckus vendor specific certifications
