Technical- Installs, configures and troubleshoots appliances like Shoretel/Mitel, Polycom/Poly, Cisco Webex.
- Provides accurate and reliable resolutions to the problems of the client.
- Applies best practices in implementing and providing support and recommendation.
- Create, build, and maintain the company's VoIP system, which includes VoIP gateways, IP-PBX, and SIP trunking.
- Investigate and fix problems with VoIP, including call quality, connectivity, and system performance.
- Set up and maintain voicemail and call-routing systems.
- Keep up with new VoIP developments and suggest fresh approaches to help the company's VoIP system.
- Shared Responsibilities
- Provides support for clients under 24x7 MA.
- Provides tests and evaluates new products.
- Assists other engineers in providing solutions that involve enterprise application support solutions.
- Reporting
- Reports to team leader/project leader of his/her day-to-day activity.
- Compiles and submits accomplishment reports to the team leader.
- Documents processes and system configuration.
- Coordinates problems encountered in the system with team leaders and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of service.
