Systems Engineer III

Minimum Qualifications

• Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Training and Experience:

Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or similar roles.

Training and proven field work in at least one data management platform.

• Skills and Attitude:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases.

• Proficiency in data management platforms like Greenplum and DataBricks.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and services for data storage and processing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBi).

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.

• Job Summary:

As a System Engineer II under the Data Management Team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure to support the organization's various data projects and internal needs. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and optimize data architecture, ETL processes, and data workflows. Your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the organization's data systems, enabling effective data-driven decision-making.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the designing, building, and maintaining of scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or other relevant data sources.

• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.

Build and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata repositories to support data analysis and reporting needs.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data processing and analytics capabilities.

Perform performance tuning and optimization of database systems and query performance.

• Document data pipelines, systems architecture, and technical specifications for reference and knowledge sharing.

Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for data-related issues and outages.

• Contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

As a senior member of the data management team, you will also mentor, train, and transfer knowledge to junior team members, maintaining the organization's competitiveness in data management. You are expected to lead teams in successful project implementations, continuously upgrade your skills, and strive for formal certifications for supported data management products.

Pay: Php40,

• 00 - Php65,000.00 per month
