The Systems Coordinator I is the subject matter expert (SME) in a particular system. As SME, the employee shall also be knowledgeable in the technical know-how's of the system including the set-up and standard protocols of the system.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform systems administration tasks such as: a. Database Administration b. Access activation and deactivation. c. System usage assessment d. Issue Escalation e. Documentation of issue resolution
Assist management, in particular, department heads, in the determination of certain specifications for the system and the reporting requirements, including generation of financial statements- Report on periodic basis to the Department Head on the status of the DMS implementation, usage, issues, and concerns, related to that matter.
Supervise troubleshoot of system errors by the system coordinators and escalate to system providers once irresolvable on system coordinator's level.
- Coordination and schedule prioritization of activities which includes monitoring of system timelines and milestones. These should be adequately cascaded to the stakeholders of the system.
Keeping a close contact with department champions, ensuring that they are properly informed on the issues, versions and updates of the system.- Strategic dissemination of the system updates to the end users including training schedules or system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineer or Business Management or any related course
- At least 1 year experience in IT related functions / IT system implementation / ERP related functions
- background accounting/finance is an advantage
