Your Role: As a Systems Administrator, you will:
- Administer and optimise Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability and cost-effectiveness of cloud services.
- Execute device management strategies using Microsoft Intune.
- Enforce security protocols and contribute to ISO 27001 compliance efforts.
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers and Oracle and SQL databases, with an emphasis on operational reliability and efficiency.
- Handle the operational aspects of integrating and managing applications, ensuring they meet operational standards and efficiency.
- Drive continual system improvements and optimisations.
- Monitor system performance and execute enhancement strategies.
- Work independently on projects and tasks aligned with the organisation's goals.
- Proactively report progress and outcomes of ongoing projects and work items.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bacheloru0027s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
- Proficient with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Skilled in administering both Windows and Linux servers.
- Knowledgeable in current security practices and technologies.
- Proficient in device management using Microsoft Intune or Active Directory.
- Capable of basic scripting in PowerShell and Python.
- Experienced with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills, and capacity to work independently.
Preferred skills/expertise
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
