Prepare the required backout and recovery procedures to cover all the changes performed.
Perform both documented procedures and develop new ones to ensure recovery from a server or storage failure.
Responsible for the coordination and execution of activities that ensure disaster readiness of the secondary site.
Proactively identify, test, and implement system changes to improve current system performance or garner faster error resolution times.
Responsible for the coordination and execution of high-impact server and storage-related changes in support of Change / Job Request or for exception recovery.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an I.T./ Computer Science or related Engineering or Technology Courses.
Must have at least one (1) year of exposure in System Administration / Technical Support related work.
Must have extensive systems administration experience in Windows Server systems from 2008 onwards, Linux Flavors.
Must have extensive systems administration experience in departmental and enterprise storage system solutions either directly attached or through storage switch.
Must have extensive understanding of networking capabilities, tuning, and maintenance within the server operating systems and storage systems.
