As an IT Operation and Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the organization's IT systems. This position involves actively participating in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements to enhance overall system performance. Your expertise will be integral to the seamless operation of critical IT services within the company.
- Job Description and Responsibilities:
System Maintenance:- Conduct routine system checks, updates, and patches to ensure the health and functionality of IT systems.
Collaborate with the IT team to perform preventive maintenance tasks on servers, networks, and associated components.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
Respond promptly to system incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
Implement and maintain robust system monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues.- Analyze system performance metrics and optimize configurations to enhance overall efficiency.
Service Improvement:
Identify opportunities for service improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements.
- Participate in planning and executing technology upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
Track and resolve system issues, ensuring stable system operation, and take preventive measures to reduce future problems.
Documentation:
Write technical documents, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to ensure a thorough understanding of the system by the team.
In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, etc.
- Knowledge of HTTP(s), API, websockets, and reverse proxies such as Nginx.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and Docker operations.
Familiarity with JIRA for project management.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure management, including VPC, RDS, SLB, S3, and Logs.
Experience in hybrid cloud environments.- Proven experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.
Proficient in SQL scripting and query optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluency in English and Chinese is highly preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in the IT industry.- Technical operations knowledge, skills, and abilities.
