- Maintains LAN security such as router configuration, firewall and port designation, wireless communication, if any, and broadband connection security, if any.
- Installs and maintains LAN infrastructure components such as cabling, hubs, switches and routers
- Ensures that technical support is provided to all users on various IT concerns such as minor and major PC troubleshooting, e-mail configuration, software installation, LAN connection, internet access
- Ensures availability of up to date inventory of company assets.
- Checks designated computer accountabilities to new, and resigned employee
- Serves as technical and function contact on all IT-related matters, when IT Manager is not available.
- Identifies and provides standards technical report for recommending replacement or upgrade of the IT facilities and proposes these to IT Manager.
- Maintains the behavior of Software and Hardware performance for normal function connection and non-interruption per user concern
- Coordinates concern department for issue of errors and technical problem day to day and coordinate plant issue connection and interval concern
- Conducts backup of server
Technical Support:
- Installs CCTV when requested, and as needed.
- Addresses elevated concerns , provides technical assistance (troubleshooting, user access, software updates and installations, hardware failure, interrupted internet connections, email and files problem.)
Projects:
- Provides assistance on projects that are designated to IT Department (HRIS, etc)
- Proposes new system which will help the Company for manpower to deliver faster results.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field or equivalent network engineering and system administration experience.
3-5 years of experience in supporting technical solutions- Deep understanding at Network protocols
Experience supporting and troubleshooting network problems
- Self-starter, able to learn new technologies
Structured and process-oriented- Ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure
