System Administrator

We are looking for a system administrator who is responsible for the design, planning, implementation and support for the Microsoft Windows environment. The system administrator will serve as a technical expert in the area of Windows administration and monitoring.

• Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain our Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of Windows operating systems and applications.

Support end-users and stakeholders via various channels (phone, email, tickets, and remote/on-site support) using advanced incident analysis and resolution techniques

• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and system backups.

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure services for hybrid cloud management.

• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline administrative processes.

Implement and manage security measures, including Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and vulnerability management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support business initiatives.

Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaborate with other team members to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and internal stakeholders as needed.

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows server roles.

Hands-on experience with Azure services for hybrid cloud management.

• Experience in managing VMware ESXi hosts

PowerShell scripting

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, including endpoint protection and vulnerability management.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
