The Business Development unit is responsible for generating revenue, new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. The Business Analytics team provides post-sales services to internal and external customers of the organization through rigorous analysis of business results coupled with client feedback. As a senior contributor in the Business Intelligence team, the incumbent leads research initiatives and data mining analysis to identify market opportunities and challenges.
The Survey Strategy Analyst identifies potential opportunities and strategic business development plans in collaboration with the BD senior management to grow the survey business. The position supports sales teams by analyzing sales trends and opportunities and developing strategies to enhance the overall performance of the Survey Growth Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and perform analyses to validate new strategies and identify new market opportunities to support business growth, improve sales practices, provide advanced client insights, and create thought leadership.
- Present data-based assessments which identify opportunities to meet diverse market requirements. Organize category metrics to work in tandem to facilitate information, and strategically plan future actions.
- Collaborate with all the Business Development team leads, Marketing, and management teams to determine survey development objectives and advise on engagement strategies to support survey growth;
- Together with the Sector Team, lead engagement efforts with regional/corporate headquarters and sectoral groups to build networks of collaboration and awareness Birches Group solutions;
- Plan, develop, and implement the evaluations of strategic initiatives; evaluate their impact in light of specific objectives; analyze the deviations; and recommend the appropriate course of action;
- Deliver insights, interventions and recommendations, and examine their impact against key metrics and indicators of success, ensuring alignment with the unit's standards and priorities, to identify best practices and support further improvement of strategy.
Targeted Specialized Knowledge:
- College degree in business administration, marketing or related field
- Strong analytic skills and data modeling
- Category/brand analysis experience
- Experience creating and delivering persuasive presentations using data-based information and visualizations
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
