Scope & General Purpose of Job:
To monitor all aspects of Casino or Hotel operations and any other areas or individuals as
specified by the Surveillance Manager and report accordingly in writing on the stipulated
forms, any irregularity or breach of company policies & procedures and any event of fraud
or scams without any prejudice or bias to any single party or individual.

Standards of Performance:
To remain continuously alert and vigilant.
To maintain the daily log and other forms used within Surveillance to the highest
standard.
To monitor and record the issue and return of all sensitive gaming equipment.
To maintain monitoring of guests and staff alike so as to be aware of any potential problem
that may arise.
To maintain a high standard of efficiency in all matters relating to written work or
extraneous duties as may be directed and to complete all reports during their shift.
To maintain a professional liaison between Surveillance and the Casino operations.
To resolve disputes by reviewing footage as required.
To monitor the entire Soft Count procedure including the collection and transport of the
cash from the Slot area or Table Games to Soft Count room.
To monitor all playing cards movement within the Casino
To ensure all company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to. Any breach of
policy or procedure must be reported to the Surveillance Shift Manager / Surveillance
Manager.
To maintain strict confidentiality in all matters relating to equipment, procedures and
information.
To develop the skills and knowledge to efficiently and effectively discharge duties
through training.
To ensure camera coverage and recording.
To complete gaming statistics.
To take video/photo shots of undesirable characters, suspects and high rollers.
Other duties as required by the Surveillance Management.
