Supply Chain Officer work with vendors to place orders for the products and raw materials that a business need. While most of this role's duties tend to be administrative, supply chain officers may also buy supplies and materials directly from vendors in certain cases.
Responsible in providing clients with sales advice and support, involving translating and explaining highly complex technical information to customers and clients and focusing on revealing how a product or piece of equipment can solve specific problems
Prepares quotations
Negotiates tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
Calculates client quotations and administer client accounts
Create Purchase order to SAP
Request payments to accounting department for suppliers
Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
