Strategic Supply Planning : Prepares mid and long term supply planning of strategic raw materials
Facilitate supply reviews with GBI plants and subsidiaries
Co-lead monthly Supply Meetings with key supply points
Ensure efficient inventory management with suppliers consistent with the GBI plants/affiliates target.
Negotiate on production plans with key suppliers to manage accurate inventory and minimise abnormal stock fluctuations or out of Stocks.
Support decision-making on stock transfers between plants/affiliates if required.
Support the material planning of new product & promo initiatives
Support inventory liquidation and disposal plans
Support optimisation projects (supply network, rationalization, MOQs) that promotes value creation purposes through productivity.
Lead/support process improvements of GBI material supply planning methodology/system.
- Market Insight/Intelligence :
Leveraging data analytics tools and technology platforms to process and interpret market and supply chain data effectively.
Use historical data and market trends to develop accurate order forecasts, which can guide inventory management and production planning
Anticipate and mitigate the future through scenario planning to address potential supply risks.
Make data-driven decisions to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and resilience
- At least 2-3 years working experience (procurement experience would be an edge)
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Dynamics and Market Research
- College graduate - preferably Business or Industrial
- Excellent analytical and strategic skills
- Excellent project management and process skills
- Proficient in MS Office (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
- Excellent in presentation and communication skills
- Organized and knows how manage his/her time
