Your Role:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:
The primary purpose of Supply Chain Coordinator is to coordinate the daily activities and paperwork required to ship home furnishing products from manufacturers to the company's distribution center and showrooms.
This position requires working a flexible 40-hour work week Monday - Friday, in a work from home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Orders - Reviews and confirms part orders needed for Customer Care, Warehouse and Showrooms. Places orders with suppliers. (45%)
- Order Management - Requests updated ETAs from suppliers on orders, makes necessary updates to system, communicate with the necessary stakeholders if orders are delayed or cancelled (20%)
- Data Entry - Updates various Excel documents for the Supply Chain department including shipping logs, KPIs, and Parts task file. (20%)
- Audits- Completes audits to ensure inventory levels stay within visual (10%)
- Self-Development - Engages in continual learning about the transportation and furniture industries. Reads trade publications, newsletters, has relevant discussions with Logistics Manager and other company Associates. (5%)
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain and is a member of the Supply Chain Department.
Financial Transaction Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to prepare financial transactions for approval by others (i.e., process invoices, etc
Decision Making Responsibilities: The position is responsible for making decisions regarding parts orders and shipping schedules.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Worked in retail/e-commerce
- Prior experience in Data Analyst role
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficient, knowledgeable about different formula in MS Excel
