Supply Chain Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyzing supply chain processes and recommending improvements to increase efficiency or reduce costs
2. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to safety, security, environmental protection, etc.
3. Analyzing customer demand forecasts to determine how much product should be produced and in what time frame
4. Reviewing data on current inventory levels to identify any shortages or overages
5. Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure they are meeting quality standards and can deliver products on time
6. Creating reports about supply chain activities such as cost analysis, distribution analysis, feasibility studies, etc.
7. Managing inventory levels by ordering additional supplies when needed or selling excess inventory to reduce out-of-stock situations
8. Managing the purchase of raw materials for manufacturing products or services through contracts with suppliers
9. Determining the best method for transporting goods from one location to another based on time requirements and cost considerations.
10. Experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in office administration, supply chain management, logistics, or engineering a plus

Certification in supply chain management or related field

Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs

At least 1 year experience in business development or supply chain management or similar role

Resourcing (in any industry/manufacturing)
