Description & Requirements
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, will oversee the Statutory Accounting roles & responsibilities of the Entity (Local tax and statutory compliance, financial accounting, Journal Entry Review, Key Accounts Reconciliation, Oversight of annual Statutory Audit, Payroll administration). The position will involve working with other finance and business functions such as HR, FP&A, CRE, and others
Essential Duties:
Responsible for local tax and statutory compliance
Assist the Finance Manager to oversee annual statutory audit
Supervise the payroll team
Financial accounting, GL, and Balance Sheet review
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting.
Heavy experience in progressive finance roles (Statutory compliance, tax ,analytics, financial reporting)
Strong operational and statutory compliance experience preferred.
Team player willing to go outside defined roles and responsibilities for the benefit of the broader team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation development and delivery, with an ability to effectively work across teams
Strong attention to detail, where accuracy and precision are critical to success.
Demonstrated contributions to improvement in processes and controls.
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, transformational environment, where change is embraced and viewed as an opportunity for one's own professional development and to drive process improvement for the team and broader organization.
