Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Substation Manager, the successful candidate will responsible for the supervision of substation activities for the effective management of personnel and equipment.
- Supervise and implement substation programs, projects and activities;
- Review Daily Reports on substation parameters for approval and recommends appropriate measures;
- Closely monitors and evaluates performance and reliability of all substation equipment through trending analysis based on test history;
- Prepares Incident Report and Root Cause Analysis;
- Identifies areas for improvement and formulates recommendation for the repair and upgrade of existing substation facilities;
- Upkeep of plans, manuals and other IMS documents pertaining to substation operation
- Coordinates with the Systems Operations group, Planning and Engineering group, and other concerned units on substation-related matters;
- Presides / participates pre-maintenance, coordination and toolbox meeting for scheduled shutdowns.
- Supervise switching procedures during planned maintenance or shutdown of substation equipment and transmission lines;
- Participates in the installation, upgrading and commissioning of substation equipment
- Monitors administration workflow and constantly identifies areas of opportunity for process improvement.
- Oversees unit deliverables and ensures that commitments and targets are realized in accordance with the approved plan, budget and timeline
- Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Electrical Engineer
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Substation Operation- English and Filipino literate
Good leadership and management skills
- Has a basic knowledge on AUTO CAD 2D and MS Office
Can read and interpret various schematic diagram- English and Filipino literate
