As a Student Finance Accounts Receivable specialist, you'll support our client's global university partners, executing key finance functions related to student and sponsor accounts. You'll be responsible for invoicing, processing refunds, maintaining accounts, and supporting audits, all while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Accounts That Count: Your Role in Action

• Invoice students and sponsors in a timely manner
  
• Add installment plans to student accounts
  
• Review and process student refunds
  
• Maintain accurate records of income from tuition, housing, and other fees
  
• Support routine audits and reconcile university partner invoices
  
• Apply incoming payments to student and sponsor accounts
  
• Liaise with Admissions teams to troubleshoot finance queries
  
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Experience & Competencies

Essential:

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business, or relevant coursework in these subjects
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data from various sources
  
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  
• Experience using accounting or operational software packages
  
• Strong communication skills to build effective working relationships with colleagues

• Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Certinia (formerly FinancialForce)
  
• Experience working with international students or in higher education
  
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
