Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES : The Youth Student Assistant reports to the Youth Administrator and Program Coordinator. Will assist the customer in the youth center at the time of enrollment, Assessment and orientation. The Youth Student Assistant will help with work experience process including collecting timecard assist youth with WE payment process profile, input work hours in the system based on funding and Worksite Agreement. The student assistant will assist youth for work experience, un paid/paid, Internship, on the Job training. He/she responsible to coordinate with worksite supervisor for ensuring that Customer Satisfaction is promoted and gain skills from the work performed at the site throughout. The Youth Student Assistant will compile and assess customer flow data and prepare trend reports. Assist the Intake staff in collecting customer records and documents that is required to meet program eligibility at the time of enrollment and check the quality of the process including filing the youth files, typing and data entering.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in working directly with youth and young adults. Computers background a must. Second language a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License. Must submit to and pass a drug test and background clearance as a pre condition to employment. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA and one (1) year of professional experience or education plus two (2) years of experience in intake, customer service, and clerical.
