Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Revit Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and construction documentation, coupled with expertise in using Revit software. As a Structural Revit Modeler, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and comprehensive 3D models of structural systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Model Development:Utilize Revit software to create detailed 3D models of structural systems, including beams, columns, foundations, and other components.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design drawings and translate them into accurate Revit models.
Ensure models adhere to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Documentation:Generate construction documentation, including plans, sections, and details, based on the Revit models.
Work closely with the project team to update and revise models as needed throughout the design and construction phases.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of construction documents to facilitate smooth project implementation.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, to integrate structural models with overall project designs.
Communicate effectively with team members to address design issues, provide solutions, and ensure project goals are met.
- Quality Assurance:Conduct regular quality checks on Revit models to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Stay informed about the latest updates and best practices in Revit modeling and implement them to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Training and Support:Provide guidance and support to junior modelers, sharing knowledge and best practices in Revit modeling.
Stay abreast of advancements in BIM technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Structural Revit Modeler in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
Proficiency in using Autodesk Revit for structural modeling and documentation.- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards.
