Structural Engineer/Validation

Basic Function:

• To Assist in preparation of Civil Engineering works related on Bill of Materials, assessments, any related civil structural works and act as a Validation Engineer.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the Operation on Technical and Enginering aspect of construction by providing design and plan, Cost Estimates, Bill of Materials, Specifications of a certain work.

• Act as Validation Engineer. Conduct site inspection to ensure the correct implementation of the work as a based from the approved Plans and Specifications in line with the standard construction guidelines.

Assists in Value Engineering Works on any proposed work/project.

• Assists in providing structural design analysis and computation incorporating the soundness and stability of the structures.

Assists in conducting site inspection, as a need arises, attending to concerns of construction.

• Prepares Quantity Take off, detailed estimate of a certain work project.

Assists in Assessing Job Orders and Change orders, if any, emanating from site particularly on detailed quantity take off and estimate cost and design.

• Assists all site personnel on concerns and issues pertaining/relative to Cost and estimates.

Prepares shop drawings and other construction bulletins to support lacking details from the working drawings through manual detailing or by means of computer aided design drafting.

• Performs other tasks/functions relative to his work.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 1 year of experience in structural design, structural analysis, Autocad, Excel, Staad Pro, E-Tabs, Basic estimation (QS).

• with at least 1 year experience in Structural Engineering.

MUST BE A LICENSED CIVIL ENGINEER
