The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring strength and conditioning programs for athletes to improve overall performance. The successful candidate determines the physical and mental health of the athletes and works with them to develop a plan to optimize performance.
- Design, implement, and supervise strength and conditioning programs for athletes
Assess athletes physical and mental health- Develop individualized plans for athletes to improve performance
Monitor athletes progress and adjust plans accordingly
- Provide guidance and support to athletes
Educate athletes on proper nutrition, rest and recovery- Analyze the physical capabilities of athletes and design programs to improve them
Collaborate with other coaches, trainers, and medical staff
- Develop and maintain relationships with athletes
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in strength and conditioning preferred
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the field- Able to develop individual plans for athletes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
