The Strategy & Transformation Manager works directly with the Division Head and Chief Operating Officer in corporate strategy and development of initiatives from planning, execution, and monitoring/maintenance of initiative effectiveness.
- Defines long-term vision, strategy, and mid and short-term targets
Monitors Key Result Areas (KRA) and quarterly targets, including documentation and collection of data on performance metrics and targets defined as part of KRA. Cascades KRAs and targets to the group.- Manages special projects identified as priority projects by the COO, including defining scope of work, conducting relevant research and analyses, engaging consultants where applicable, setting goals and milestones, and ensuring timelines are met.
Monitors and analyzes healthcare industry trends (products, technology & business models), as well as local and regional competitors
- Identifies market opportunities for new businesses or improvement in profitability of existing businesses by conducting the required research
Identifies trends in the healthcare sector that may impact current and future business plans, such as trends in technology, demographic distribution of the population, customer expectations on service levels or availability of new technologies or medical procedures, customer segment financial capabilities for availing of services, other new entrants who may provide new services or approach the market with new business models- Monitors and reports key movements/updates in the regulatory landscape in relation to its impact to the business (i.e., Universal Healthcare Act, National Integrated Cancer Control Act, etc.)
Identifies potential for growth and expansion of existing businesses by identifying customer requirements, existing and potential market share in the face of demand for services, potential success for expansion in new locations of existing business units.
- Leads initiatives towards building the organization's brand to key stakeholders on various traditional and digital platforms
Maintains relationships with key industry partners (private sector, government, academe) and provide feedback/opportunities for strategic collaboration where relevant- Provides data and support to the relevant departments in corporate communications, investor relations, sustainability, etc.
Develops and manages marketing and communications initiatives to help boost the organization's brand as part of the AC Health ecosystem (i.e., development of social media marketing plan, writing of PR articles on key milestones, preparation of speeches and presentations of senior leaders for special events/conferences/conventions, etc.)
- Other duties that may be assigned or other ad hoc tasks and projects that may be assigned
Minimum Bachelor's degree preferably in courses like Management, Finance, Communications, and Health Sciences
- Master's degree or higher in business or healthcare field is an advantage
7 to 10 years experience in a profession that develops expertise in planning or strategy development- Strong collaboration and team capabilities working with senior executives
Willing to work in Arca South, Taguig City in an on-site work setup
