The
Strategy Manager will lead the strategy execution and management, and stakeholder management of the KMD Group. This involves managing the portfolio of major projects under the KMD CEO. In addition, the Strategy Manager will work with the Head of Strategy in business planning, preparing governance presentations and conducting ad hoc studies.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the portfolio of major CEO projects, which includes prioritizing projects, identifying interdependencies alongside department representatives, monitoring project portfolio risks and providing project portfolio updates to the CEO and the rest of the KMD Mancom- Prepare and co-host project identification workshops
Drive project governance meetings of CEO driven projects. Lead discussions with the representatives of different departments to ensure proper progress documentation of projects and preparation for project updates to management
- Provides recommendations based on key insights and analysis project from the progress reports
Ensures that the reports are accurate and timely. Drives resolution of any issues with the support groups.
Work with the CEO in preparing for business planning sessions and developing the overall strategy and plans for the KMD Group- Identifies key issues and opportunities in the mid-term horizon
Initiates workshops to identify insights, gaps, issues and opportunities based on various sources (trade, market research, internal and external data) relevant to the business plan; and leads the development of strategies and action steps based on these findings.
- Reviews the monthly operations report to cull out key drivers based on overall business KPIs/metrics performance vs budget & previous year
Provides recommendations based on key insights and analysis from prior period performance- Builds the communication brief
Prepare ad hoc studies that can include market research and studies for special topics
- Develop and present visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and insights, utilizing data visualization tools for effective communication.
Create quality tools and decks for all stakeholder management meetings
- Maintain the database of information published and ensure consistency of reports sent across all stakeholders.
At least 5 or more years in experience in a project management-related or strategy-related role
- Has the ability to manage stakeholders (including management)
Ideally, a candidate who has a proven track record in project governance and management- An intermediate level of knowledge in financial analysis is an advantage
A Bachelor's degree in any business-related degree is a minimum and a Masters degree in any business-related degree is an advantage
Good communication skills (e.g., verbal, presentation) Project management- Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Financial analysis is an advantage
- Skills in reporting or visualization / dashboard is an advantage
A certification in project governance and / or management is an advantage
