Position Overview:
The Store Supervisor at a coffee shop is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, handling customer issues, and ensuring the store meets sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
Train staff on customer service best practices.
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff.- Schedule and oversee shifts, ensuring adequate staffing at all times.
Motivate and support team members to achieve their best performance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
Operations Management:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store at all times.Financial Management:
Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and profitability goals.
- Assist with cash handling, including cash registers, deposits, and petty cash.
Track sales, prepare reports, and analyze performance data.Product Quality:
Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are served in a timely manner.
- Monitor preparation methods and presentation of food and beverages.
Provide feedback and training to staff on improving product quality.Marketing and Promotions:
Assist in executing marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and promote store events.
Support social media and local marketing efforts.Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and staff performance.
- Handle administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of financial management and reporting.
- College Graduate of any course ; additional education or certification in hospitality or business management is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.- Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment.
Reporting:- Reports to the Store Manager.
