The
Store Supervisor develops the performance of the store in all key areas including commercial success, achievement of sales targets, efficient store operations, staffing, promotional programs, customer service, and inventory management. He/she will serve as a financial analyst of the company-owned stores which will focus on financial planning, analysis, and projection.
- SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Store Administration
- Ensures that the store is open during operating hours
Maintains an adequate number of staff for store operations
- Adheres to contract agreements
Ensures the safety and security of the store premise- Ensures that the cleanliness and tidiness of stores are to the highest standards
Act as the point of contact and executor for HR-related functions associated with supervision, monitoring of offenses, timekeeping, and preparation of evaluation of all store personnel

Promotes suggestive selling through training, example, and reinforcement- Adheres to pricing policies and maintains an accurate updated master list
- Profitability
- Operates the store within the budget limits
Attains margin goals and controls expenses
- Works diligently to maintain low levels of employee turnover
- Marketing Strategy
- Recommends, organizes, and coordinates promotional strategies that can help boost the sales
Supports and carries out the company's initiatives on store promotional and marketing programs- Assists and supervises store promotions to nearby communities
Makes recommendations in terms of product displays/merchandising
- Staffing
- Ensures complete training and development of store personnel
Conducts regular staff meetings- Provides accurate timely evaluations and feedback
Effectively counsels and motivate staff on job-related matters
- Addresses employee complaints, issues, and claims on time
- Loss and Inventory Control
- Controls cash and inventory loss
Reviews inventory counts as scheduled and resolves identified variances- Ensures that the storage and selling areas are always clean and secure
Maintains inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock and overstock items
- Customer Service
- Promotes customer-centricity
Ensures that patient counseling is actively practiced per store- Interacts and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Image
- Ensures store image standards are all complied
Monitors and ensures that all store personnel adhere to the uniform policy
- Report Compliance
- Submit all reports accurately and on time
Makes all deposits on time and conducts respective documentation as deemed necessary
- Financial Analysis
- Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projection of company-owned stores including CAPEX budgeting.
Analyzes trends and financial status of the specific stores by collecting, monitoring, and providing financial movements, insights, and recommendations
- Track financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison to budget forecasts
People Management:
- Ensures regular performance reviews of all team members in alignment with agreed individual KPIs, Business Objectives, and Corporate KRA
Provides timely feedback and drives for high-performance culture within his team- Ensures team's continuous learning and growth through structured training, coaching, mentoring on-the-job or immersion programs
Bachelor's Degree in any business course, a pharmacy degree is a distinct advantage
- At least 3 years of work experience in the related function and level (Retail & Pharma Industry)
Experience in managing an organization with a sizeable headcount operating on multiple sites
