Job Summary:
The Store Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in managing the overall operations of the coffee shop. This includes ensuring efficient store operations, maintaining high customer service standards, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Implement store policies and procedures.- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store.
Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively.
- Staff Management
- Supervise and train baristas and other staff members.
Schedule and assign tasks to staff.- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock rotation.
- Ensure the availability of all menu items.
- Financial Management
- Assist in managing cash registers, including handling cash and card transactions.
Ensure accurate daily financial reporting and cash handling.- Help achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain hygiene standards in food preparation and serving areas.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate; additional education or certification in hospitality or management is a plus.
Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a coffee shop.- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Basic knowledge of coffee and coffee-making equipment is preferred.
