As our ideal candidate for the Cashier Team Lead position, you must be sensible, keen on quality, and lead by example.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and train cashiers in customer service, cash handling, and store policies and procedures.
- Oversee all cash transactions, including deposits and reconciliations.
Maintain accuracy and security of all cash funds and registers.- Resolve customer complaints regarding cash transactions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare reports and provide cash flow information to management.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing of cashiers.
Perform opening/closing duties, including balancing registers and securing cash funds.- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree.- With 3 years and up experience in Supermarket as Department Supervisor.
Prior experience in retail and cash handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage people and handle conflict resolution.- Proficiency in basic math and accounting principles.
