Store PharmacistWe are in search of Store Pharmacist who will be primarily responsible for dispensing medications correctly for customers to use at home, as well as educating the customers on their medications and answering any questions the customers have. The position is also responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of a pharmacy and other duties that entails managing the pharmacy staff and the inventory, and ensuring the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
_Community Primary Functions
_- Authorizes the Company as FDA approved through utilization of the pharmacist license
Ensure that BK Pharmacy operations abide by current government regulations including FDA, DOH, PDEA, etc.
- Secure and obtain from FDA the necessary license to operate needed by the company to continuously operate its business as a drugstore
Attend required certifications and trainings for renewal of licenses and annual random inspection- Compiles and keeps all the documents necessary for FDA annual routine inspection for the current LTO. Complies with FDA's required documents.
Inspection of pharmacy storage area every quarter to ensure compliance to with FDA's specifications. Digital wall thermometer should be calibrated every year at DOST.
- Conducts and document temperature monitoring 3 times a day in BK Pharmacy.
Formulates and develops detailed Risk Management Plan on drugs and food supplements handling and distribution in collaboration with Audit department.- Updates Standard Operating Procedure to ensure alignment to day to day operations.
Monitors product incident report if any.
- Coordinates with the regulatory department for reporting of the said incident.
Assess and develops improvements on processes and systems within the Department.- Attends patient/customer inquiries on technical matters related to drugs such as on available medicine, dosage etc.
Organize pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Assist in operation such as submission of daily reports, inventory monitoring and delivery man's daily itinerary
Ensure validity accuracy of prescription; double-checks drugs/s with prescription before dispensing to customer/patient.- Shall validate all prepared order/s of the pharmacy assistant before dispensing to patients/customers.
_Administrative Functions
_- Submits periodic reports on the operations and activities of the department with the corresponding analysis and recommendations to relevant officers in the organization.
Leads the store operations such as maintaining cleanliness of workplace, receiving and attending customer orders, etc.
- Performs other function related or in connection to the preceding enumeration as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
Undertakes regular orientation for the store personnel on product knowledge and customer service.- Proper filing of BK PHARMACY records. Ensure no materials in file are lost
Oversees that remittances are accurate according to sales recorded
- Updates prescription logbooks in a timely manner shall be kept in file for two (2) years.
Updates senior citizen log book in a timely manner and shall be kept.- Conducts inventory checking and reconciliation to ensure that there are appropriate number of stocks in relation to demand in the pharmacy
Assure that pharmacy stocks in sufficient for daily pharmacy operations to prevent out-of-stock.

4-year degree in Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy- 1-4 years experience working in Community Pharmacy
1 year of experience as a supervisor or lead in a Community Pharmacy
Updated CPD units- Updated Basic Life Support Certificate (as necessary)
Updated with latest seminars in Pharmacy or Management
- Interpersonal and customer relation skills
