The Store Manager is the front-line employee primarily responsible in ensuring the proper planning, implementation and monitoring of operations activities geared towards satisfying customers and achieving profits and revenue targets of the store

Uses proper procedure to ensure the accuracy of every order for every customer (Example: repeating customer's order when it is presented to them)
- Answers to customers questions, queries and provide information (as per inquiry of the customers)
Performs effective suggestive selling and upselling of complementary products and promo offers- Follows all Operations standards and guidelines for preparation of products according to training and instructional materials provided
Completes all ordered items and lines it up per transaction for pos check out
- Attends to customer complaints politely and ensures action and resolution is done immediately in accordance to set company standards

Cashiering Function- Secures cashier's fund and performs cash count at the start of the shift
Performs cashiering activities and uses own password only and does not share it with anyone
- Transacts all items ordered by the customer, offers new products as add on sales
Receives payment by cash, e-wallet, or other accepted forms of payment- Issues receipts, refunds or change due to customer
Informs Shift Leader or Store Manager for any transactions that may require void or deletion to facilitate system access
- Performs cash drop or partial sales endorsement of every P2,000 to the Shift Leader or Store Supervisor
Report excess, over and/or inadequate, shortages in cash/sales after shift and/or after counting money or sales from the POS- Accomplishes cashier's accountability report daily and submits with complete attachment as required by the Head Office
Ensures cashiers fund are intact with adequate loose coins and bills for change
Ensures cash handling procedures are properly implemented- Keeps record and is accountable for store funds while running a shift
Assist in accounting and banking responsibilities
- Assist in preparing daily sales report and analysis
Implements and maintains product planogram for attractive product displays
- Installs pop materials and ensure cleanliness, neatness, and proper safe keeping of reusable materials
Adheres to merchandising standards such as in FIFO (first in, first out) or FEFO (first to expire, first out)- Assist in merchandising strategy execution and planogram improvement
Consolidates and suggest new products based on customer suggestions
Receives delivery and checks quantity delivered against delivery receipt
- Informs Shift Leader or Store Manager for any variances for proper reconciling with the Commissary
Checks product quality and segregates damaged items- Accomplishes pull out form for items due for return to the Commissary
Performs daily shift cycle counting and reconciles variances versus system record
- Checks product expiration both on display and in the stock room area
Monitors product availability sell out, ordering, transfers, and pull-out- Recommends ICO level adjustments to meet customer demands and limit over or under-stocking scenarios
Adheres to standard look and appearance, complies in wearing complete uniform while on duty- Maintains store cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas
Follows proper hygiene, hand washing techniques and all sanitation guidelines
- Completes all sanitation tasks as outlined by the Shift Leader or Store Supervisor
Follows standard use of tools and equipment- Uses or wears personal protective equipment or clothing as required
Follows all health and safety protocols set by the Company
- Reports all incidents, accidents inside or within store premises
Follows all store policies, procedures, standards, and house rules- Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the store based on 5s standards and cooperation between members of the shift
Ensures proper implementation of policies and procedures to guard against shoplifting, and pilferage, covering transfers and pull-out, conduct of store opening and closing procedures compliance
- Assist in identifying proper manpower count and preparation of store manpower schedule
Assist in conducting performance appraisals- Conducts evaluation and assists in training, coaching and mentoring to improve employee competency
Communicates existing and new company policies, leads as an example in compliance
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
