Greeting and assisting customers with their purchases
- Operating the cash register and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions and cash handling, including handling petty cash and reconciling the cash register at the end of each shift
- Managing inventory levels, including restocking merchandise and conducting inventory counts
- Fulfilling online orders, including picking items from inventory, packing orders, and preparing them for shipment
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Providing product information and answering customer inquiries
- Upselling and cross-selling products to customers
- Resolving customer complaints and issues
