JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Restaurant Accountant is responsible for the timely validation and accurate recording of sales and sales-related transaction of stores. He/she is also responsible in providing support to various stores which includes processing of petty cash replenishment, restaurant financial audits, assistance on permits processing and other store-related concerns.
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Daily audit of store and tender
-Ensure daily posting of sales and tender of stores and initiate adjustment in the
system, if necessary
-Reconcile sales and tender on a daily basis. Provide exception reports to store and
adjust related accounts in the system
-Performa bank reconciliation accounts (cash and credit card bank accounts) and adjust
related accounts in the system
-Prepare and file BIR report
-Process replenishment of store petty cash fund based on agreed policies and
procedures
-Initiate recording of petty cash replenishment to appropriate account ledgers/ cost
centers in the system
-Assist in the processing of permits for new stores and renewal of permits for existing
stores
-Perform record management relative to the AP function in accordance with records
retention policies and procedures
-Prepare weekly / monthly sales reports and other analyses as required by
-management and lessors

-Participate in year-end count of the stores
-Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Finance
-Experience in retail or restaurant accounting
-Understanding of internal controls especially in various accounts payable process and controls
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, including ability to operate computerized accounting
system
-Strong attention to detail, documentation, and analytical skills
-Effective oral / written communication skills required to interact with store personnel
-Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
-Ability to work independently or as a team member.
