Job Summary:
Receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports. Ensure the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area. Maintain quality in the warehouse and keep track of all damaged inventory and reporting the same to the supervising authorities. Properly pack, label and tag the inventory in the warehouse. Efficiently carry out all orders of the supervisors. Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse. Coordinate work with fellow workers and other team members.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate
Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of working experience Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery
Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Stock clerks typically type, file and keep accurate records to track materials.
- Custodians perform preventive maintenance on forklift, truck and/or railcar.
- Communicate with workers from other shifts.
- Clean and maintain work area
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis.
- Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
- Stage finished product for loading
- Load finished product onto truck, aircraft and/or railcar.
- Unload raw materials from truck, aircraft and/or railcar.
- Move raw materials to warehouse storage.
