Prepares and dispenses medications ordered or prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner using appropriate technique and following the health system's policies and procedures; assures the distribution and availability of 24-48 hour supply of medicines for inpatients; provides quality pharmaceutical care to all patient care areas including OR, DR, ER and ICU; and prepares and reconstitutes cytotoxic and other antineoplastic drugs used for chemotherapy using proper aseptic technique.
