As a Staff Accountant, you'll reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, manage monthly closes, and oversee key financial processes. This role is your chance to refine your expertise in US accounting and financial compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every task.

• Reconcile and prepare daily journal entries for cash and bank activity, constituting 75% of the workload.
  
• Reconcile accounts receivable (AR) and apply payments to outstanding invoices.
  
• Assist with collections, cash application, and reconciliation of the customer subledger to the general ledger.
  
• Oversee sales tax management and reporting.
  
• Execute the monthly close process in NetSuite.
  
• Perform reconciliations of various accounts, including cash accounts, accounts receivable (AR), allowance for doubtful accounts (AFDA), and fixed assets.
  
• Prepare and post journal entries for fees, month-end close activities, bank transfers, and accruals.
  
• Manage fixed assets, assign and record depreciation, and prepare Business Property returns.
  

Requirements

Skills That Balance the Equation

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  
• Proven experience in U.S. accounting practices.
  
• Familiarity with expense reporting and reimbursement processes.
  
• Strong proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and NetSuite is required.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
