A Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the hiring process and develops programs to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Their responsibilities include:
Managing job postings: Ensuring job postings are accurate and up-to-date, and managing them on career websites
Creating job descriptions: Working with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions that attract suitable candidates
Screening and interviewing: Establishing screening criteria and conducting interviews and phone screens to evaluate candidates
Making hiring decisions: Making informed hiring decisions based on established criteria
Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires
Training: Developing and facilitating training on the applicant tracking system and hiring process
Performance evaluations: Conducting performance evaluations and making recommendations for hiring and dismissing employees
Professional relationships: Fostering and maintaining professional relationships with existing employees
Process improvement: Identifying new opportunities for process improvement initiatives
Compliance: Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with US hiring laws and best practices
