Job Summary: The Sr. Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and cost management. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This position will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects on time and within budget.
Reviewing and evaluating plans, specifications and contracts to ensure that all are in accordance to what has agreed upon and align to company's objectives.
- Monitoring of awarded contracts and keeps track on projects in the pipeline.
Supporting on negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolution with Contractors.- Assessing and preparing claims from and/or to contractors or suppliers.
Preparing reports and presentation materials.
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity and cost requirements.
Sourcing of proposals from suppliers and contractors. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.- Providing support in the preparation of reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Evaluating and endorsing suppliers and subcontractors billings.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
Compiles Historical Information of Past and Current Projects pertaining to Time and Costs
- Helps in the creation and mapping of best practices thru the creation of Quality Management System
Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years professional experience/background in quantity surveying and contracts management.
Experience in MEPS- Experience in Land Development works is an advantage
In-depth understanding of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with trade.
- Proficient in MS office, Autocad, Planswift and/or any other estimating softwares
Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets and financial reports- In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing and industry

Pay: Php30,- 00 - Php40,000.00 per month
